The Morning Ritual 60 mins
An amazing way to find time for yourself before you start the day. On arrival Cacao from The Cacao Ambassador is served before practice.
We begin with cleaning our lymphatic system in the face/neck with the use of a Ghu Sha & use Gratitude face oil from Rata & Smudge.
Alternate Nostril breathing to stimulate the left & right hemispheres of the brain. It also helps to relax your body and mind, reduce anxiety, promotes overall well-being
Then we move into a YIN practice to finish.Suitable for all levels.

First Timers Yin 60 MINS
3-4min holds (freedom to come out when you need to is always encouraged).
This is a great class to start your journey of Yin. A slow meditative series of breath, shapes practiced help strengthen and clean the brain, bone and blood. Creative freedom and softness is always encouraged in this class - an opportunity to check in with self and breathe.
This is a same sequence practice, targeting all the most important areas in the body to help maintain us as we age, our bones begin to degenerate, we lose mobility in our joints, and our fascia tightens. But a consistent Yin Yoga practice helps to regain mobility and ease pain in the body. This is because it applies gentle, healthy stress to our joints and gentle stretch to our connective tissues. We create collagen and elastin, water loving molecules that hydrate our tissues and joints.
Suitable for all ages and all levels. -
Yin Yoga 60 MINS
4-5min holds (freedom to come out when you need to is always encouraged).
This is a same sequence practice, targeting all the most important areas in the body to help maintain us as we age, our bones begin to degenerate, we lose mobility in our joints, and our fascia tightens. But a consistent Yin Yoga practice helps to regain mobility and ease pain in the body. This is because it applies gentle, healthy stress to our joints and gentle stretch to our connective tissues. Yin Yoga is an excellent counter to the more physically demanding – or yang – yoga disciplines. This deep stretching is the perfect way to end your busy day or to help balance your other physical activities so you can stay flexible to help avoid injury. Yin also balances internal organs and improves flow of prana (chi, energy/life force).

Chair Yoga & Memory Maintenance
Chair yoga is the perfect practice for those with movement challenges.Yoga can be practiced fully without ever leaving your seat, which can be especially useful for practitioners struggling with balance issues, mobility issues, and/or stiffness and pain.
Using the assistance of a chair to support some or all of your body weight to lessen the load on your joints and muscles and limit the range of motion necessary to practice certain shapes.
We infuse all this with Kriya yoga, cross lateral movements so we can tap into left and right hemispheres of your brain.
Suitable all ages and levels.

STRENGTHENING & LENGTHENING
3-4 min holds (freedom to come out when you need to is always encouraged).
Plank is held between Yin shapes .
This is a great class if you are wanting to strengthen and open the entire body including the pelvic floor muscle.
Pelvic Floor Support: The PC muscle is a key component of the pelvic floor.Urinary Continence: Strong PC muscles play a significant role in urinary continence.
Sexual Function: For both men and women, a strong PC muscle is associated with improved sexual function.
Posture and Stability: The pelvic floor muscles, including the PC muscle, provide support for the spine and pelvis, contributing to good posture and stability.
Strengthening these muscles can help alleviate lower back pain and improve overall body alignment.
Preventing Injuries: Strengthening the PC muscle can also help prevent injuries.
A strong pelvic floor can provide stability and support during movements.
A great practice to bring into one’s life if you are wanting to strengthen & lengthen the whole body.

Memory Maintenance & Yin

This class is an infusion of Yin Yoga, breath and cross lateral movements to help engage both hemispheres of the brain.
A very important aspect to this class is Kriya Yoga.
Scientists are linking a 70% reduction in memory loss through practicing Kriya Yoga. The process of performing Kriya Yoga is claimed to lead to a specific purification of the blood, freeing up the life force to withdraw into the spine. Kriya Yoga is a simple, psycho-physiological method by which the human blood is decarbonized and recharged with oxygen. The atoms of this extra oxygen are transmuted into life currents to rejuvenate the brain and spinal centres. By stopping the accumulation of venous blood, the human is able to lessen or prevent the decay of tissues; this transmutes cells into pure energy.

Love Your Liver Yin 60 MINS
In this class we focus on the Liver & Gallbladder meridian lines.
When the Liver and Gallbladder are in harmony the whole body is restored back into balance, improving vision, detoxifying, regulating menstruation, working through anger issues and assisting us make our way through the world with flexibility and decisiveness.
Meridians are considered channels where Qi or Prana flows. Qi is the basic life force of the body. When we have enough Qi flowing smoothly in the meridians we have health and longevity in body and mind.
The liver carries out over 500 essential roles in the human body. These include filtering the blood and removing harmful toxins, generating bile to metabolize fats, proteins and carbohydrates, storing essential vitamins and minerals, supporting blood clots and more!

Rest & Restore 60 MINS
A gentle slow moving Yin infused with restorative yoga.
A place to sleep if the body wants too.Melt into a shakti pillow to take your relaxation further. Its shapes & targets tension in hard-to-reach areas so you can sink into deeper relief and soothe stress-triggered pain. Finished with a Blissfoam inner that moulds to your neck and natural curves.
Rest is one of the most important things we can do to help lower cortisol levels, this has an important role in the stress response.
Maintaining an adequate balance of cortisol is essential for health.
We finish the last 15 mins of class with Yoga Nidra, trains the body and mind for this meditative state by keeping the mind focused on different parts of the body. This soothes the nervous system and allows the body to relax and release tension. The practice also helps to quiet the mind and create a state of inner peace.
Taking care of SELF first is one of the most important things we can do.

As we are a small safe & cosy Yoga centre with no more than 8 per class. Included in our price we provide set up and clean down of all equipment, Grounding Mats, calming eye packs, organic bolsters, blocks, meditation mats, and a cup of organic Rosemary Tea after class. Rosemary has been known to increase Memory by up to 75%.
